Fulfillment Policy

Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Domestic Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at ship date. Rates vary based on size, weight, and location and are determined by the courier. Customers agree to pay shipping costs of items purchased through Automation Guarding Systems. Average shipping times for items are listed below.

UPS: 3-5 Business Days

Standard Items: 2 Weeks

Special Items: 3 – 4 Weeks

Local delivery

Local delivery is available but must be procured by the customer. Please contact us to arrange pickup time with the courier.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 6624 Burroughs Ave. Sterling Heights, MI 48314. You can request pickup by specifying it within the order notes on checkout, your order will be processed and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days after we receive the order. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 6AM to 4PM on Monday through Friday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: Canada & Mexico

Shipments to Canada & Mexico must be specified at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Automation Guarding Systems is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at maria@ags.us.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes

Automation Guarding Systems does not ship or deliver to P.O. boxes.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 5-10 days after delivery for standard items, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs and restocking fee of 20% for the return. Special items are not eligible for return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at anne@ags.us.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these issues on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Freight shipments must be inspected for damage upon receipt. Failure to do so relieves Automation Guarding Systems from any liability. If items are not inspected before accepting delivery, customer is NOT eligible for refund, return, or exchange.
